Sunday night of house, disco, DnB and RnB at The Cell with free entry before 11:30pm and 241 drinks before midnight.
Industry Sundays returns to The Cell on Sunday 18 October, running through to Monday morning. It's one of those Sunday nights that doesn't really stop until the early hours, and it's built around the city's hospitality and nightlife crowd, though anyone can get in.
Musically, it's a broad church. The night bills itself as Nottingham's biggest Sunday, and the sound reflects that, moving across house, disco, DnB and RnB. It's not a one-genre affair, so you'll hear a fair bit of ground covered over the course of the night rather than one specific style from start to finish. If you're coming in early, you'll catch the house and disco side of things; the DnB and RnB tend to take over as the night rolls on.
There's a bit of a trick to the entry. It's free before 11.30pm with an online ticket, and the 2-for-1 drinks run until midnight, so getting in early pays off. If you're in the industry, though, you're sorted regardless of the time: free entry works all night with an Industry Ticket, or with a payslip or proof of employment. If you're planning a bigger group, there are a limited number of VIP booths that come with a free bottle of vodka, which you book through the organiser's Instagram.
