Over-18s Halloween club night with Shapes at The Cell, with house, garage and hip hop music and fancy dress.
Shapes are back at The Cell on Friday 30 October, taking over the underground space for their Halloween Eve club night. It's a long-running pairing — the organisers say Halloween and Shapes have been synonymous for more than a decade, and the occasion has grown into what they call the biggest week in the calendar. This year they're calling it a dark and freaky Halloween Friday experience, and fancy dress is more than encouraged, so if you've been sitting on a costume, this is your excuse to actually wear it.
The music runs across house, garage and hip hop, and the whole thing is strictly over-18s. It's a long one, too: it kicks off at 10:00pm and runs through until 4:00am, so you've got six hours of dancefloor to work with. The venue is The Cell, Unit 2, 22a Fletcher Gate, NG1 2FZ — right in the city centre, so it's an easy one to get to and just as easy to get home from when it finally winds down.

Tickets are £7 to £17.05, and since it's a Friday night, you'll want to sort yours in advance rather than leaving it to the door. If you're planning to stay until the early hours, it's a good idea to have your transport sorted beforehand, as the 4:00am finish puts you well into the night. It's a long night, a broad mix of house, garage and hip hop, and a fancy dress crowd — so come prepared.
