Halloween special of The Bodega's Indie Wednesdays series with indie anthems and spooky surprises, with dress-to-distress.
Indie Weds Halloween takes over The Bodega on Wednesday 28 October, a Halloween special of the venue's usual Indie Wednesdays night. It's a mid-week one, so it's a good shout if you're not fancying a full weekend out and just want a night in the city instead.
The music is the focus here, and the night is built around a broad indie selection. The organisers describe the set as running from "devilish indie anthems to dancefloor killers and spooky surprises", so you'll get the big, singalong tracks alongside the floor-fillers and a few curveballs thrown in for the occasion. It's a club night rather than a live gig, so the DJ keeps things moving across the whole evening.
There's a dress code in the mix too. The night is billed as one that "guarantees to raise the dead and the roof", and the crowd is encouraged to "dress to distress" in Halloween attire, so if you've got a costume you've been waiting to wear, this is a decent place to bring it out. It's a themed night, not just a regular Wednesday with a few decorations.
