Weekly indie night Indie Wednesdays at The Bodega with a special night of Fontaines D.C.
Indie Wednesdays is back at The Bodega on Wednesday 21 October, and this one's a Fontaines DC special. It's part of the weekly indie night the organisers run at the venue, so if you've been before, you know the drill: the night is built around the IW playlist, which pulls in the likes of Kasabian, IDLES, The Smiths, Oasis, The Libertines, Gorillaz and The Vaccines. The Fontaines DC focus just puts the Dublin band at the centre of the mix for the evening.
The Bodega has been Nottingham's original indie venue since 2017, and it's a room that's seen its fair share of names pass through — Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender and The 1975 have all played here. The night fills the space with festival-ready anthems and keeps a free glitter station on the go, and the venue adds a downstairs bar and two beer gardens to the mix, so there's plenty of room to move between the music and the drinks.
