Over-18s stoner and doom metal show by Hippie Death Cult with Cherry B at The Salutation Inn.
Hippie Death Cult play The Salutation Inn on Tuesday 27 October, with Cherry B opening the bill. It's a stoner/doom metal night in the city centre, so if you're into the heavier, slower end of things, this is one for you.
For a bit of background, Hippie Death Cult formed in 2017 around multi-instrumentalist Eddie Brnabic, who moved from Los Angeles to Portland, Oregon, before building the band around him. He brought in his girlfriend Laura Phillips on bass, Ryan Moore on drums — formerly of Nether Regions — and Ben Jackson on keyboard and vocals, who was in Sioux and A((wake)). That's a fair bit of ground covered across the US before they landed here in Nottingham.

It's a standing-only night, and there's an over-18s policy in place, so keep that in mind if you're bringing anyone along. Tickets are £19.80 including fees — that's £18.00 face value and a £1.80 booking fee — and they're limited to six per customer. The Salutation Inn is on Maid Marion Way, NG1 6AJ, and the music starts at 19:00.
