Satirical comedian Harry Enfield brings his favourite characters back to life on stage in his comedy show.
Harry Enfield brings his show And No Chums! to the Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 25 October. He describes himself as a 'stupid idiot', but the bill is a proper retrospective: he's drawing on four decades of performance to bring some of his favourite characters back to life on stage. You'll see Loadsamoney, with his sharp social commentary, and Kevin, with all that teenage angst, alongside others from across his career.
Once the characters have had their run, the show opens the floor to the audience. You can ask him how it all works, what he's most proud of, and how he answers the question he gets asked so often: 'You wouldn't be allowed to do your stuff today, would you?'. It's a good chance to hear him talk through the work rather than just perform it.
Critics have called it a joyous evening, with Enfield's comedy still packing a punch and the whole thing working as an evocative trip down memory lane. A second date was added due to demand, so if you've been thinking about it, now's the time to book.
