Halloween-to-Christmas night at Cucamara, a theme night at the Nottingham venue in Hurts Yard.
Hallowmas takes over Cucamara on Sunday 1 November, from 9pm until 3am. It's the final spooky-season session of the year, and the name gives away the whole point: it's the night Halloween meets Christmas. The ghosts of October hand over to the festive season, and the organisers describe it as a final instalment of spooky-season chaos where the holiday of ghosts gives way to the festive one, complete with 'questionable decisions and absolutely no festive spirit'.
If you haven't been before, Cucamara is in Hurts Yard in the city centre, and they bill themselves as 'where Nottingham's party begins'. They're open six nights a week, with a different theme every single night, so the music changes depending on when you roll in. On some nights it's cheesy commercial hits; on others it's DnB, tech, and baseline beats. They're also known for their student deals, like 3-for-£5 on cocktails, shots, and bombs, which usually sets the tone for the kind of night they run.

So, on the one night when the spooky stuff starts to bleed into the Christmas ones, you've got a session that runs from 9pm through to 3am, with last entry at 1am. Entry is free, though it can go up to £4.60, so it's one of those nights you can just turn up to without much planning. If you're heading in late, just keep that 1am cutoff in mind.
