Weekly Tuesday over-18s alternative night at Cucamara with emo, pop-punk and alternative rock and metal.
DISTORTION is back at Cucamara on Tuesday 27 October, the venue's regular Tuesday night for emo and alternative music. It's an over-18s night, and the slogan they run with is a bit of a nod to the old stereotypes: 'Not just a phase. It's a lifestyle.'
The music is built around the biggest emo anthems, pop-punk classics, alternative rock and metal. The playlist draws on acts like My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Bring Me The Horizon, Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, Blink-182, Slipknot and Pierce The Veil, so it's a mix of the mid-2000s sound and the heavier stuff that followed. If those names ring a bell, you've got a good idea of what the night is about.
