Halloween night of dancehall, house and R&B with DJs from across the Midlands, fancy dress required and a cash prize for best dressed.
Halloween Envy Night takes over Liquid Library on Saturday 31 October, turning the venue into a Halloween celebration built around dancehall, house and R&B. It's a proper all-night affair, with the music running continuously until the early hours.
The sound is a broad mix: R&B, hip hop, bashment, garage, house and dancehall all get their turn across the night, so you'll hear a good bit of ground covered rather than one single style. The DJs are coming in from Birmingham, Nottingham and across the Midlands, which means the night draws on more than just the local scene. If you're into dancehall and house, that's where the focus sits.
Fancy dress is the order of the night. Guests are encouraged to turn up in costume, and there's a cash prize for the best-dressed attendee, so it's worth putting some thought into what you wear if you're planning on it. The music doesn't stop until the early hours, so it's one of those nights that goes long into the morning.
