Ha Ha Halloween Spooktacular

Ha Ha Halloween Spooktacular takes over Blend at Nottingham Contemporary on Saturday 31 October, a mixed-bill character comedy show that uses the venue as part of the act. It's one of the dates in the Nottingham Comedy Festival 2026, and it's strictly over-18s.

The premise sets the scene: a mad scientist has been collecting more than just art in the gallery. Hidden among the exhibits are strange creatures and things that go bump in the night, and it's his trusted servant, Igor, who welcomes you in. He guides the audience through the haunted halls, reveals the building's dark secrets and even darker jokes, and introduces you to some of the ghastly guests along the way. It's a character-led night, so expect a run of different personas rather than a single stand-up set.

Because it's a mixed bill, you'll get a few different acts on one ticket rather than just one name. The whole thing is built around the Halloween theme, so the comedy comes from the characters and the spooky setting rather than a traditional stand-up format. It's a good shout if you're after something a bit more theatrical than a usual comedy club night.

It starts at 20:40, so it's a late one—perfect for Halloween night. Tickets are £6.60, which includes the booking fee, and it's over-18s only.
