AComedyTapas

AComedyTapas kicks off at Blend at Nottingham Contemporary on Friday 30 October, the first of a packed week of stand-up. It's part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival's 'Blend' programme, which runs across the Contemporary from that Friday through to Sunday 8 November, with a full line-up of comedy filling the gap between the two. Denzil Ede is promoting the whole run.

If you haven't come across the format before, AComedyTapas is a fast-paced mixed bill that throws up to a dozen acts onto the stage in one night. It's more of a showcase than a single headliner's show, so you get a good range of comics rather than one person holding the room for the whole evening. Chris O'Neill is on the bill for this one, and with up to twelve acts in total, it's a fair bit of ground to cover in a single sitting.

Because it's part of the wider Blend programme, this is just the start of the run. The comedy continues at the Contemporary through the following week, so if you're in the mood for more, there's plenty to pick from across the festival. Just keep in mind that the show is for over-18s only, so it's one for the adults.

Doors open at 5:40pm and the show starts at 6:00pm, so it's an early one. Tickets are £8.00 plus a £0.80 booking fee, £8.80 in total. You'll find the venue at Blend, Nottingham Contemporary, Weekday Cross, Nottingham, NG1 2GB.
