Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night

Tom Wrigglesworth headlines a Funhouse Comedy Club night at David Lloyd West Bridgford on Saturday 17 October. He's the main act of the evening, with Ant Dewson and David Eagle supporting, and Nottingham's own Spiky Mike compèring the whole thing. It's a full bill of three comedians, so you're getting a proper night of stand-up rather than just a single set.

Funhouse is a Nottingham institution that's been running since 2003, and it was started by Spiky Mike, who's still the one holding the night together on the mic. Over the years, the club has staged comedy across more than 40 venues and festivals, booking TV names, top circuit acts, and rising stars alongside new-act open-mic shows and nights for private functions. The stage has hosted Sarah Millican, Rhod Gilbert, Romesh Ranganathan, Josh Widdicombe, Zoe Lyons, Scott Bennett, Josh Pugh and Gary Delaney. It's been named Best Midlands Comedy Club twice, at Chortle and the Midlands Comedy Awards, and in 2023 it was voted Best Independent Comedy Promoter in the UK by pro circuit comedians.

This particular night is at David Lloyd on Rugby Road in West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7HX. Doors open at 7.00pm, and the show starts at 8.15pm, so there's plenty of time to get in and settled before the first act takes the stage. Tickets are £15 in advance.
