Beginner punch needle workshop run by Georgia Louise Designs to make a festive mini decoration, for ages 12 and over.
Georgia Louise Designs is running a festive beginner punch needle workshop at ARC Space on Saturday 14 November, from 1:45 pm to 4 pm. It's an in-person session in Nottingham, and as the name suggests, it's aimed at beginners, so you don't need to have picked up a punch needle before to join in.
Over the afternoon, you'll learn the basics of punch needle — the technique of pushing yarn through fabric to create a textured, looped surface — and use it to make your own festive mini decoration. The focus is on the process as much as the finished piece, and you'll walk away with something you've made yourself, ready for the Christmas season.
It's run by Georgia Louise Designs, and the whole thing is set up as a cosy, chilled afternoon. The idea is that you can come along with friends or turn up on your own and make some new ones while you work. It's for ages 12 and over, so it works as a solo activity or something to do with a younger sibling or friend. If you're not used to the craft, it's a low-pressure way to get a handle on it.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Nottingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
