Halloween edition of District, the weekly student club night at The City SU, with a full venue transformation, laser light shows and devilish drinks deals.
District is taking over The Level Nottingham on Saturday 31 October for its Halloween special, a student-only night that runs from 22:00 and goes right through until Sunday morning. If you've never been, District is Trent's biggest weekly club night at the City SU, and it usually spreads across three floors every Saturday night.
On a normal weekend, the resident student DJs cover a fair bit of ground, moving from chart and house through to drum and bass and techno. The top floor is its own thing entirely, dedicated to R&B, hip hop, grime, afrobeats and dancehall, with laser light shows and the venue's best drinks deals. The Halloween special keeps that multi-room format but dials it up: the whole venue gets a full transformation, the production is stepped up, and the drinks deals are described as devilish.
