Clinton Baptiste, the clairvoyant medium from Phoenix Nights, returns with a new live comedy show taking in audience queries and earthbound dilemmas.
Clinton Baptiste is back at Nottingham Playhouse on Friday 19 February 2027, with his new live show Spectral Intercourse. If the name sounds familiar, it's because Baptiste is the clairvoyant medium and psychic best known for his appearances on Peter Kay's award-winning Phoenix Nights, where he's billed as the nation's favourite medium.
For those who know the character, the setup is exactly what you'd expect: he takes the audience's queries and earthbound dilemmas and reaches out to the spirits for answers. It's a new show, and one built for 2027 and beyond, so it's not just a one-off run. He's coming off his fourth sell-out UK tour, and the act has drawn praise from Joe Lycett, Rob Brydon and Chris Moyles.
Behind the persona is Alex Lowe, the comedian who plays him. The show is recommended for ages 14 and over, so it's not one to bring the little ones along to. It runs for two hours, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £32, plus a non-refundable £2.50 booking fee per order. The Playhouse is on Wellington Circus, NG1 5AF, so it's easy enough to get to from the city centre. If you've followed the character since Phoenix Nights, this is a good chance to see him live in the flesh.
