Free afternoon of board games and coffee run by the Board Gamers of Nottingham, with dominoes, Scrabble and murder-mystery games.
The Potteries hosts a board games afternoon on Wednesday 21 October, starting at 15:00. It's run by the Board Gamers of Nottingham (BGON), who describe it as a fun, friendly session of board games and coffee. The games on the table run from dominoes and Scrabble to murder-mystery games, and you're welcome to bring along your own board games and food. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too.
The afternoon is part of the Aldercar and Langley Friends (A.L.F.) programme, a small local social and activity group run by volunteers for people in Aldercar, Langley Mill and the surrounding areas. A.L.F. aims to improve local life by offering regular, cheap or free, easy-to-attend activities in small friendly groups of four to twelve people, alongside larger meetings and short breaks with car shares where appropriate. It's an inclusive group that supports local businesses, and proceeds from activities like bingo go into a winners' pot.
