Relaxed evening of creativity, sipping and painting a wine bottle in a guided workshop with all materials provided at Binks Yard.
Binks x Studio 2.0 are running a wine bottle painting workshop at Inside at Binks Yard on Tuesday 3 November, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. It's a paint and sip night, which is exactly what it sounds like: you spend the evening painting a wine bottle while you drink.
Inside at Binks Yard is the indoor side of the larger Binks Yard site at The Island Quarter, 1 The Great Northern Close, NG2 3BJ. The whole place works as an all-day dining, drinks and entertainment spot in Nottingham. Inside, they do real ales, wines, cocktails and wood-fired food; outside, there's a huge terrace with a big stage and the largest outdoor screen in the East Midlands, which hosts everything from live music to dance. This session is tucked away inside.
They describe it as a relaxed evening of creativity, sipping and painting. You'll get a welcome glass of fizz and some picky bits to keep you going, and the workshop itself is guided, so you don't need to be an expert to get something decent out of it. All the materials are provided, and you take home the wine bottle you've painted at the end. They pitch it at two types of person: artists who want a new project, and people coming just for the fun of it, so it's as much about the drink and the company as the painting.
