Relaxed paint and sip evening with a vinyl theme, including a welcome glass of fizz, picky bits and a guided painting workshop.
Binks x Studio 2.0 are running a vinyl-themed paint n sip at Inside at Binks Yard on Wednesday 28 October, from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. It's a guided workshop, so you don't need to bring a thing — all the materials are provided on the night. The theme is vinyl, and you'll leave with your own painted record to take home.
Binks Yard is an all-day dining, drinks and entertainment spot in Nottingham. Inside, it serves real ales, wines, cocktails and wood-fired food; outside, there's a terrace with a huge stage and the largest outdoor screen in the East Midlands, which they use for live music, sports and dance events. This session takes place in the indoor space, away from the terrace.
The evening is pitched as a relaxed one: sipping and painting, with picky bits and plenty of chatting. It's aimed at anyone who fancies themselves an artist or just wants to have some fun, and since it's guided, you'll be walked through the process rather than left to figure it out on your own. You'll spend the session painting a vinyl record, and by the end you'll have a finished piece to take home.
