Ben Van der Velde: Van der Laugh Generator

Ben Van der Velde is playing Blend at Nottingham Contemporary on Saturday 7 November, with his show Van der Laugh Generator taking centre stage. It's a stand-up comedy night, and he's the main feature, so the evening is built around his set.

There's a bit more to the setup than just one name on the bill. The show is presented by Den of Laughs, and it sits within the Nottingham Comedy Festival, which means it's one of several comedy events happening across the city during that period. If you've been following the festival's programme, this is one of the dates to keep on your radar.

As for the night itself, it's a straightforward comedy gig: Ben Van der Velde on stage, doing his stand-up. That's the whole of it, with him as the main draw. If you're already a fan of his, you know what to expect; if you haven't seen him before, this is a good place to start.

It's at Blend, the cafe and bar inside Nottingham Contemporary, so it's right in the heart of the city. The show starts at 19:10, and tickets start from £11.00.
