Night of dancing to old and new R&B anthems, soul classics, funky beats and reggae with DJs at the Alea Casino.
Back & Forth Excellence returns to Alea Casino on Saturday 7 November, starting at 10pm. It's a night of dancing to a mix of old and new R&B anthems, soul classics, funky beats and a touch of reggae, with the DJs selected on ability and tune selection. If you've been before, you'll know the format: the music takes centre stage, and the dancefloor does the rest.
The night is built around that blend of R&B and soul, pulling from both the old-school records and the newer anthems, with funky beats and a bit of reggae thrown in to keep it moving. The DJs are chosen for their ability and their tune selection, so the focus is on the music rather than the names on the bill. It's the kind of night that works whether you're there for the soul classics or the newer R&B.
Alea Casino is right in the heart of Nottingham city centre at 108 Upper Parliament Street, NG1 6LF, which puts it close to hotels, car parks and the train station — handy if you're coming from further afield. There's a free cloakroom all night, and drink and food offers on the night. Attendees are called 'V.I.P'.
