A drag bingo cabaret show with original songs and stories from the party bingo circuit, presented by LOL-GBTQ+.
Angela Bra brings Secret Diary of a Bingo Call Girl 2 to The Lord Roberts on Saturday 7 November, presented by LOL-GBTQ+. It's a drag bingo cabaret show built around original songs and stories from the party bingo circuit, so you'll get a bit of everything: the bingo, the drag, and the music. Bra runs her own Absolutely Dabulous Drag Bingo, a show that's seen its fair share of hen do high jinx, butlers in the buff, glamorous grandmas, and mothers escaping the family for the night.
She didn't start with the drag. Bra came up through the music open mic circuit, but eventually realised she found it funnier to tell stories in her lyrics than to rhyme 'pain' with 'rain'. Stand-up followed, and after lockdown she emerged not just as a comedian but with a drag-inspired persona. She's a multiple award winner and nominee for both her festival shows and her drag performances: she took home 'Best Cabaret' at the Bay Fringe Festival and 'Joke of the Fest' at the Lancaster Comedy Festival in 2025, and was a finalist at Manchester G-A-Y's 'Purple Reign'. She also won Best Comedy at the Morecambe Fringe, earned two comedy nominations at Buxton Fringe, and reached the finals of Mamma's Drag Battle in Leeds and The Lord Roberts' namesake in Manchester.
