An Evening with Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp is coming to the Theatre Royal on Friday 13 November, 7:00 PM. It's an evening of football chat, stories and memories, and if you've followed the game at all over the last few decades, you'll know exactly the kind of night it's going to be. Redknapp is one of the most loved and entertaining personalities in football, and this is him taking the stage to tell the stories from a managerial career that spanned more than forty years.

He's worked with a long list of clubs — Bournemouth, West Ham United, Portsmouth, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City — and there's a fair bit of history to draw from. He led Portsmouth to FA Cup glory in 2008 and guided Tottenham into the UEFA Champions League. One of the ones that still gets talked about is when he knocked holders Manchester United out of the FA Cup in 1984 while managing Bournemouth, who were in Division Three at the time. He also became a bit of a cult figure for those transfer deadline day interviews with Sky Sports, filmed from the window of his car.

It's not all football, either. Away from the touchline, he won I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2018 and finished third in the show's All Stars edition. The night is billed as football chat, stories and memories, so you can expect him to lean into the anecdotes from both the dugout and the jungle.

It's at the Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall on Theatre Square, Nottingham NG1 5ND, and it's recommended for over-16s only. The show starts at 7:00 PM on Friday 13 November.
