Three-hour advanced latte art workshop for two, led by a Head Barista from 200 Degrees, to master milk texturing and pour heart, tulip and rosetta designs.
200 Degrees in Nottingham is running an Advanced Latte Art Course for Two, a three-hour practical session led by one of their Head Baristas. It's aimed at budding coffee enthusiasts who already make their own brew at home and want to take their skills a step further. The whole thing is hands-on, so you'll be spending the session behind the machine rather than just watching someone else do it.
The focus is on two things: milk texturing and pouring. You'll start with the texture — getting that microfoam just right — and then move on to three classic designs: the heart, the tulip, and the rosetta. The course describes the progression as moving from 'messy splodge' to being able to actually impress with your latte art, so it's designed to take you through the levels rather than throwing everything at you at once.
It's sold as a gift voucher delivered instantly, which means you can pick a date within 12 months of purchase. You'll need to book at least four weeks in advance, so it's something to sort well ahead of when you actually want to go. The minimum age is 16, and anyone under 18 has to be accompanied by an adult. Along with the workshop, you get a 10% voucher for use in 200 Degrees shops, a free 250g bag of coffee or a pack of coffee pods, and a certificate proclaiming you an Advanced Latte Artist.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Nottingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The cost is £160 for two people, and since it's a voucher, it works as a gift for someone else or as a way to lock in a date with a friend. The session lasts three hours, and you'll walk away with the certificate, the coffee, and a few new designs to show off at home.
