Adam Garcia's dance show that fuses Irish dance and urban tap, with Tom Ball, live musicians and world-class dancers.
Adam Garcia brings his new dance show Emerald Storm to the Theatre Royal on Monday 16 November. It's part of the West End Hits heading to Nottingham, and Garcia is both the producer and one of the stars.
If you're wondering what it actually is, the show is pitched as what would happen if Riverdance and Stomp had a baby. It puts the fire of Irish dance alongside the grit of urban tap, and Garcia co-created the choreography himself. He's well known from the stage and screen, with Coyote Ugly and Saturday Night Fever among his credits. He shares the stage with Britain's Got Talent finalist Tom Ball, who performs live and blends dance, music and voice into the mix. The two are backed by a company of world-class dancers and live musicians.
The show runs in two acts. Act 1 goes from 7:30pm to 8:10pm, followed by a 20-minute interval, then Act 2 runs from 8:30pm to 9:35pm. Doors open at 6:30pm, so there's plenty of time to get in and find your seat before things kick off. It's staged in the Main Auditorium at the Theatre Royal, Theatre Square, NG1 5ND.

A couple of practical things to keep in mind: under-14s have to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and the production uses haze and cold sparks. Tickets for Balcony Price 3 are Β£35.00.
