An immersive auditory experience and live comedy show exploring the worlds of dominatrix and crossdressing, presented by Mistress Scarlet Graves and Nana Arthole.
Scarlet Graves and Nana Arthole bring A Good Beating to The Lord Roberts on Saturday 7 November, taking the show live for the first time. It's presented by LOL-GBTQ+ and runs as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival, which is returning for its 18th year.
Until now, A Good Beating has been an immersive auditory experience. On stage, the two of them talk through the highs, the lows and the similarities of their chosen fields with what they describe as brutal honesty. They say they're aiming to titillate, educate and unsettle the audience along the way.
That's a good way to frame it, because the two of them come from very different places. Scarlet Graves is a professional dominatrix; Nana Arthole is a crossdresser. The show puts them side by side, and the conversation that follows is the whole point of the night.
