Intimate sound bath meditation session with a live handpan and chakra tuning forks tuned to 432Hz, for a maximum of four people.
Wholebeing is hosting a 432Hz sound bath meditation session on Saturday 7 November, starting at 14:00. It's billed as the first live sound bath in Nottingham to work with 432Hz music, and the whole thing is built around that specific frequency. The organiser describes it as being tuned to the Earth and proven to heal the physical anatomy and the energetic space.
The session features a live handpan and chakra tuning forks, with a native flute added to the mix. Both the handpan and the flute are tuned to 432Hz, which the organiser says stimulates the brain's alpha waves and promotes wakeful relaxation. A sound bath is a meditative practice that uses resonant music to help you let go of stress, anxiety and worry: you lie down on a yoga mat, head on a pillow and covered with a blanket, and you just listen. No prior meditation experience is necessary, so you don't need to have done anything like this before to join in.

It's a small, intimate session with a maximum of four people, so it's more of a quiet afternoon than a big group thing. You'll need to bring your own blanket, pillow and water, and herbal tea is served afterwards. Tickets are £15 via Eventbrite, and the session runs on Saturday 7 November from 14:00 at Wholebeing.
