40s&50s Singles Night @ Manahatta Nottingham | Love at First Sign

Love at First Sign is hosting a singles night for people in their forties and fifties at Be At One in Nottingham on Wednesday 16 December. It's an astrology-powered evening, though they're clear that you don't need to know anything about astrology to take part. The whole thing is built around the Cosmic Fusion App, which you use to skip the usual small talk and see how you match up with other guests on the night.

There's a bit of a game to it too. The 'Cosmic Dip' draw gives you a chance to win prizes if you hit a compatibility score of 85% or more with another guest. So, instead of just hoping for a spark, you've got a number to go on.

The evening is split into three parts. Doors open at 7:00pm, and from 7:30pm there are icebreaker activities to get everyone talking, with optional Cosmic Speed Dating running alongside them. Then, from 9:00pm, the structured stuff stops and it's just free mingling for the rest of the night. If you're not feeling the speed dating, you can just stick to the icebreakers and the chatting.

It's at Be At One in the basement of the Imperial Building on Victoria Street, NG1 2EX. Tickets start from £20, and with the doors opening at 7:00pm, you've got plenty of time to settle in before the icebreakers kick off at 7:30pm.
