40s & 50s Singles Night

Love at First Sign are running a singles night for people in their 40s and 50s at Be at One in Nottingham on Wednesday 28 October. It's an astrology-powered evening, and they describe it as the UK's most unique singles night. You don't need any prior knowledge of astrology for it to work, so you can turn up without knowing your rising sign or a thing about houses.

On the night, everyone uses the Cosmic Fusion App to skip the small talk and see how they match up with other attendees. If you hit a compatibility score of 85% or more with someone, you get an extra entry into the monthly 'Cosmic Dip' prize draw. The evening runs in stages: doors open and registration starts from 7:00pm, followed by icebreaker activities and optional Cosmic Speed Dating from 7:30pm, and then free mingling from 9:00pm. You can stick to the structured bits or just drift into the room and chat.

Tickets are £20, down from the original £25, with an early bird discount of 20% running until 21 October. If you're coming with a friend, there's a two-ticket deal at £30, down from £44. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable, so you can pass yours on if your plans change. The night is at Be at One, in the basement of the Imperial Building on Victoria Street, Nottingham NG1 2EX, on Wednesday 28 October, with doors and registration from 7:00pm.
