Weekly vinyl night at The Plough pub where full albums are played across all genres and guests can bring their own records for a free drink.
Turntable Tuesday is back at The Plough on Tuesday 20 October, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It's a weekly vinyl night, and the format is built for people who actually like to listen: full albums are played across all genres, rather than just a string of singles. The best part is that you're encouraged to bring your own records along, and if yours is chosen to play, you get a complimentary drink for it.
The venue is The Plough, 58 St Benedict's Street, a lively pub owned by Grain, the independent local brewery that's been running since 2006. The building itself has been a pub for more than 200 years, and it's got a large, dog-friendly beer garden that becomes a hotspot for summer garden parties, street food pop-ups and DJs. On colder days, it turns into a cosy retreat with outdoor heaters and a comfortable interior, so it works whether the weather is on your side or not.

Because it's a weekly thing, it's easy to drop in whenever you fancy. The full-album approach means you'll hear records as they were intended, and since they pull from all genres, the music changes from week to week. If you've got a favourite album you've been meaning to hear on a proper system, this is your chance to get it on the decks. It runs from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at The Plough, 58 St Benedict's Street, NR2 4AR.
