A live six-piece fusion of 1920s swing and electro beats, mixing rock, electronica, house and rock n roll, with a free support act.
The Electric Swing Circus play Norwich Arts Centre on Saturday 5 December, with a free support act opening the night. It's a standing-only show, so you'll be on your feet for the whole thing.
They're a six-piece live band, and the sound is exactly what the name suggests: 1920s swing mashed up with heavy electro beats. It's not just those two, though. They pull in rock, electronica, house, big beat and rock n roll, so the set jumps between eras and styles rather than sticking to one lane. The swing provides the melody and the brass, and the electro handles the low end, with the other genres filling in the gaps. It's a full band on stage, not a DJ set, so you're hearing the whole thing played live.
