Stand-up show 'Vexy Beasts' by Rachel Fairburn, blending new stand-up and character comedy, following her 2025 show 'Side Eye'.
Rachel Fairburn brings her new show Vexy Beasts to Norwich Arts Centre on Wednesday 4 November, part of her 2026 UK tour. It's her first hour since Side Eye, the show she took through 2025, and this one mixes brand-new stand-up with all-new character comedy. The characters she brings to the stage include nepo babies with novels to sell, middle-class rock stars with a struggle, terrifying mothers and bitter theatre ushers, all running alongside her biting social commentary.
Fairburn has built a reputation as a skilled impressionist, and the character work is a big part of what she does. Critics have described her as bright, brave and bitterly enjoyable, with a commanding, thrilling and utterly addictive presence. She's a Comedy Coe finalist and co-hosts the international podcast All Killa No Filla, and you might recognise her from Live at the Apollo on BBC Two, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled on Dave, Richard Osman's House of Games on BBC Two, and Russell Howard Hour Life Lesson on Sky. The show is presented by Phil McIntyre Live Ltd by arrangement with PBJ Management.
