Two days of free choral and musical performances by local schools and community groups, a family-friendly festive event with Norfolk and Suffolk Music Hub.
The Forum is hosting two days of music on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 December, put on in partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk Music Hub. It's a choral and musical showcase that brings together local schools and community groups, so the stage is shared by choirs and ensembles from across the region rather than one big headliner. The whole thing is billed as a family-friendly way to share festive cheer across the city, and with the school and community groups at the heart of it, it's as much about the people performing as it is about the music itself.
Because it's a hub production, you'll hear a mix of choral and instrumental performances, with local schools and community groups taking turns throughout the two days. It's the kind of thing that puts a spotlight on home-grown talent, so you're seeing people from around here rather than a touring act. The two-day format means you can drop in on either day, or catch both if you're in the city for both.
