Live podcast recording by the Norfolk Folklore Society exploring the ghosts, folklore and strange encounters of Norwich.
The Norfolk Folklore Society are back at the Octagon Chapel on Wednesday 28 October, returning by popular demand for a live podcast recording. The whole thing is built around the ghosts, folklore and strange encounters hidden in the nearby streets of Norwich, so it's a night that keeps its focus right here in the city.
The Society works with the kind of stories that have left generations of residents glancing over their shoulders. They've teased a few of the ones that will come up: a woman who never quite completed her final journey, a gateway with a grisly reputation, and a timeslip in an unlikely location. It's that mix of the ghostly and the just plain odd that gives the night its shape, and since it's recorded as a podcast, you're in the room while they unpick it all.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Norwich and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
