South London indie rock band Gently Tender play the Norwich Arts Centre, with support from The Slow Country and HEKA.
Gently Tender play the Norwich Arts Centre on Tuesday 3 November, with The Slow Country and HEKA opening the bill. It's a standing show, so you'll be on your feet for the night.
Gently Tender are a South London six-piece formed from the ashes of Palma Violets. Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle are joined by Francesca Brierley, Adam Brown and Evie Hilyer-Ziegler. They describe their sound as taking in the British countryside: indie rock built on lush harmonies and pastoral melodies that touch on folk, punk and soul. It's a broad stretch of ground for one band to cover, and the six-piece line-up gives them the room to move between those different moods.
They released a critically acclaimed debut album in 2022, produced by Matthew E White, and were launching new music in spring 2026, so this set should pull from both the early record and the newer material. With The Slow Country and HEKA on the bill, there are three acts to get through before the night wraps up.

Tickets start from £15, with a Supporter ticket at £17.50. If you're under 26, it's free. The show starts at 8:00 pm, and the venue opens from 7:00 pm, so there's plenty of time to get in and find a spot before the first act takes the stage.
