Live show by the band Dallahan, blending Scottish and Irish traditional music with influences from the Balkans and North America.
Dallahan play the Norwich Arts Centre on Wednesday 28 October, with the night split into two sets. They start at 8:00 pm and play until 8:40 pm, followed by a twenty-minute interval, then back on from 9:00 pm until 9:40 pm.
The band built their sound from the traditional music of Scotland and Ireland, but they've spent more than a decade pulling in influences from the Balkans, North America and beyond. They describe it as a musical world tour of their own making, and the line-up reflects that mix: guitarist and singer Jack Badcock, banjo player Ciaran Ryan, accordionist Andrew Waite and fiddler Benedict Morris. They've evolved since they first came together, but they've stayed rooted in the traditions that brought them together in the first place.
