Free exhibition by MigRefHealth, a UKRI-funded research project on how community assets such as housing, food and advice services support health and well-being.
MigRefHealth is bringing a research project to The Gallery at The Forum from Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 October, and it's an exhibition rather than a one-off event, so you've got a few days to fit it in. The project is called ARU Research Project: Experiences and Possibilities, and it's all about how community assets can support health and well-being. If you've ever wondered how things like local centres, community groups, or shared spaces actually make a difference to people's lives, this is exactly what it looks at.
It's not just a general look at well-being, either. The research focuses on a few very concrete areas: access to accommodation and housing, food and nutrition, and advice services. Those are the kinds of things that can make or break someone's health long before they ever step foot in a doctor's surgery, and the exhibition puts them front and centre. It's a UKRI-funded project, organised by MigRefHealth and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

Because it runs across three days, you don't have to rush. It's open from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday 20, Wednesday 21, and Thursday 22 October, so you can drop in whenever suits you best. You'll find it at The Gallery, inside The Forum on Millennium Plain, NR2 1TF, right in the heart of Norwich. Entry is free, so there's no need to book or pay anything to have a look around. If you're interested in how community support works on the ground, it's a good one to keep on your radar for that week.
