A show featuring Nev Clay and Band with support from Ben Holland and a special mystery guest, playing songs from Nev's back catalogue.
Nev Clay & Band are playing Live Theatre on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 November, two nights at the Quayside venue. The set is a look back through Nev's back catalogue, with the band playing songs from across his recording history rather than focusing on one particular record. If you've followed his work over the years, it's a chance to hear those songs together in one go.
It's a full band on stage for the two nights. Along with Nev Clay, the line-up includes Richard Dawson, Sally Pilkington, Phil Tyler, Gary Lang, Catherine Stephens, Robin Fry and Dave Scott. That's eight people in total, so it's a fairly large ensemble for a room like Live Theatre, and the set will draw from songs written and recorded across different periods of Nev's career. The two nights are identical, so you can pick whichever date works best for you.

Support comes from Ben Holland, who opens the bill, and a special mystery guest whose name hasn't been announced yet. Between the support and the main set, there's enough to fill the evening. The venue is Live Theatre, Broad Chare, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3DQ, right down by the river. Tickets start from £18.
