Alt rock quartet FOXHAUNT returns to Newcastle with special guests Darlah and Bright Is The Sun at The Head of Steam.
FOXHAUNT are back in Newcastle on Saturday 17 October, playing The Head of Steam on Neville Street. They're an alt rock quartet from York, with vocals, guitar, bass and drums, and this is their return to the city this autumn. They're not coming alone, either: special guests DARLAH and Bright Is The Sun are on the bill with them, so it's a full night of three acts rather than just a single set.
If you haven't come across them yet, the York four-piece are known for energetic live shows and engaging music. They're an alt rock outfit in the classic sense — vocals, guitar, bass and drums — and they've built their name on playing out loud. This is a band that works best when they're in a room with an audience, and that's exactly where they'll be on the night.
One thing that sets this one apart from a lot of the bills you'll see around town is that the band are organising the night themselves. They've put together the line-up and handled the arrangements, so it's their own show from start to finish. That means the whole evening is their call, with DARLAH and Bright Is The Sun joining them as their chosen guests.
