Bongo's Bingo is bringing its Christmas specials to Boiler Shop in Newcastle, with the first one landing on Saturday 21 November as a daytime show. If you've been before, you know the drill: it's bingo played with a loud soundtrack, dance-offs decided by the crowd, and prizes that are usually more funny than useful. This time it's all dressed up for December, so expect plenty of tinsel, rubbish Christmas jumpers, and a setlist of festive tunes.
One thing to keep in mind is that this isn't just a one-off. The Christmas edition is running across a string of dates at Boiler Shop, so if the Saturday daytime slot doesn't work, there are plenty of other options. It's back on Friday 27 November, Friday 4 December, Friday 18 December, Sunday 20 December, and Sunday 27 December. That's six chances to get in on it over the course of a few weeks, rather than just one night to aim for.
