High-energy Celtic folk favourites played on fiddle and acoustic guitar with spirited vocals, inviting guests to sing and dance in a heritage bar.
Raggle Taggle Gypsies Band are back at Bartholomew's on Sunday 25 October, returning to the heritage bar with high-energy renditions of Celtic folk favourites. The set is built around fiddle and acoustic guitar, backed by percussion and spirited vocals, and it leans on the kind of songs that most people already know by heart.
They'll be working through the classics: The Wild Rover, Whiskey in a Jar, Dirty Old Town and Rocky Road are all on the list, and they're played as lively performances that invite you to clap, sing and get on your feet. It's a set that works as much for people who want to stand up and join in as for those who'd rather stay in their seat and listen.
