A film club presenting the best of Nordic cinema at Tower Cinema, held on the first Tuesday of every month.
Pappa Sven's Nordic Film Club is bringing Nordic cinema to Tower Cinema in Newcastle, with sessions running on the first Tuesday of every month from 7 April 2026 through to 31 December 2026. It's a recurring programme rather than a one-off, so if you're into the region's filmmaking, there's a new screen to catch every few weeks across the year.
The club focuses on Nordic cinema, and the organisers describe it as a way to transport yourself into Nordic life through film. Because it's a recurring series, you can drop in for a single night or make a habit of it and follow the programme as it unfolds over the months. The sessions are held at Tower Cinema, 183 King Street, Newcastle NSW 2300.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Newcastle and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
