A day of lively Brazilian Samba and Pagode music with dancing and singing at The Lucky Hotel.
Pagode De Newy are taking over The Lucky Hotel on Sunday 4 October for a full day of Brazilian Samba and Pagode. It's a long one, running from 1:00 pm through to 11:00 pm, with doors opening at 12:30 pm. If you're not used to the format, it's ten hours of music straight through, so you can roll in whenever suits and stay as long as you like.
Pagode De Newy and friends are the ones putting it on, and they describe it as a day built around the rhythms of Samba and Pagode, with plenty of room to dance, sing and create memories together. The whole thing is a celebration of Brazilian music, and the ten-hour stretch means it's more of a session than a standard gig — you can drift in for a few hours or settle in for the whole day.
