Grammy-winning soul icon Macy Gray performs iconic hits on her biggest Australian tour at The Station Newcastle.
Macy Gray plays The Station Newcastle on Saturday 19 September, part of her biggest Australian tour to date. It's an outdoor show presented by GENR8 Entertainment and NEWFM, with gates opening at 4:00 pm and the event running through to 10:00 pm. The venue is at the corner of Scott and Watt Streets in Newcastle.
Gray is returning to Australia after a sold-out tour in 2024. This run is her largest yet, taking her music into regional destinations and across to six shows in New Zealand, before it closes in the Margaret River wine region. With over 25 million records sold worldwide, a Grammy Award, two BRIT Awards and 10 studio albums, she's cited as one of the greatest R&B and soul artists of her generation. The set will draw from those records, with her signature raspy voice at the centre of it.

Because it's an outdoor concert, a few practical things to keep in mind: gates open at 4:00 pm, and it runs rain, hail or shine, so no refunds apply regardless of the weather. Under-18s need to be accompanied by a responsible adult, and children under five enter free. General admission is A$89 plus booking fees, and there's a VIP Meet & Greet for A$209 plus booking fees, limited to 100 packages. If you're planning to bring the kids, the under-fives go free, so that's one less thing to budget for.
