Guy Sebastian performs his 100 X Around Australia Tour live at Civic Theatre in Newcastle.
Guy Sebastian is playing the Civic Theatre on Saturday 5 December, part of his 100 X Around Australia Tour. It's a regional run that takes him through New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and Victoria, so Newcastle is one of the stops on a tour that's hitting regional centres across five states.
If you've followed him for a while, you'll know the numbers. He's the only Australian male artist to have six number-one singles and two number-one albums in chart history. He was born in Malaysia in 1981, moved to Australia at age six, and became the first Australian Idol winner in 2003. Since then, he's picked up the ARIA Award for Highest Selling Single twice — for 'Angels Brought Me Here' and 'Who's That Girl' — and has 22 ARIA nominations in total. 'Battle Scars' went eight times platinum here and reached platinum in the US. He's also spent time as a judge on The X Factor and opened for Taylor Swift in 2013. Outside the music, he's an ambassador for The Red Cross and World Vision.

This tour follows his sold-out 2026 national arena tour, and for this run he's hitting the road with his band. The 100 X Around Australia Tour is the regional leg of that, taking the show out of the major cities and into regional towns across the east coast and over to the west. The Newcastle date is at the Civic Theatre, 375 Hunter Street, 2300 Newcastle, starting at 19:00 on Saturday 5 December.
