10th anniversary edition of the adventure film tour spotlighting women who push boundaries, with 2.5 hours of action.
The Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour comes to Tower Cinemas on Saturday 1 August, with two and a half hours of action on the big screen. This year marks the tour's 10th anniversary, a decade of putting the spotlight on women who push boundaries and shatter expectations in the adventure world.
The session is a collection of films of different lengths and styles, rather than one single feature. You'll see climbers, paddlers, runners, riders and explorers — women from across the adventure spectrum who are redefining what's possible. Because the films vary in length, the pace shifts throughout the night, and the range of disciplines means there's something in there for anyone with an interest in the outdoors, whether you're into the mountains, the water or the trail.
It's Australia's premier adventure film tour, and the organisers describe it as a celebration of human potential, where determination turns into achievement and fear gives way to courage. The whole thing is built around the idea that 'gutsy' is a way of life, and the films are chosen to show that in action.
