Earp Distilling Co. is opening its doors for an events and weddings showcase on Sunday 16 August, and it's free to get in. If you're in the middle of planning a wedding, a corporate function, a birthday, or any other kind of celebration, it's a good chance to see the space as a venue rather than just a place for a drink.
On the day, the distillery's Barrel Hall is transformed with a range of event stylings, a ceremony set-up and vendor stalls. The idea is to let you walk through and get a feel for how the room works for different kinds of gatherings, and the stalls mean you can meet local suppliers in person. The Earp Distillery events team will be there too, so you can chat with them directly about what they can do.
It's not just for weddings, either. The showcase is aimed at anyone planning a function, so whether you're thinking about a corporate event or a big family birthday, it's worth a look. And because it's a Sunday, you can make a proper afternoon of it: the distillery's bar and restaurant runs A$12 spritzes every Sunday, and there's a special price on the set Chef's Selection menu.
