Australian comedian Denise Scott returns to the stage with her most personal solo show, blending observational humour with reflections on resilience and life after cancer.
Denise Scott is back on stage at the Civic Theatre on Saturday 10 October, with her new solo show Tickety Boo. It's her first return to solo performance in more than a decade, and it comes after a long break from the stand-up circuit.
The gap in her performing career wasn't a choice. Scott has been dealing with cancer, and she's open about how that experience has changed her perspective on life, on comedy, and on what really matters. That's where Tickety Boo comes from. She describes it as her most personal show yet, and it's easy to see why: it's built around the things that come out of the other side of a diagnosis.
