Dave Thornton brings his comedy show More or Less to the Civic Theatre (Playhouse) in Newcastle on Sunday 2 August, starting at 5pm. It's a stand-up set from a performer who's spent plenty of time on the stage and whose clips routinely get millions of views online.
If you haven't come across him yet, Thornton is a seasoned stand-up whose work has been described as "devastatingly effective" by Chortle. He's a regular on the screen too: he's appeared on Sam Pang Tonight and The Cheap Seats, hosted The Big Trip, played a role in Upper Middle Bogan on Netflix, and currently stars in the ABC's Ground Up series. More or Less is the latest show he's taking on the road, and The Age called it "an hour of quick wit and cheery anecdotes" — which gives you a fair idea of the tone to expect.
