Born In The USA: Springsteen - Remembered, Replayed, Reimagined

The Album Show are bringing Bruce Springsteen's Born In The USA to Flamingos Live on Sunday 9 August, as part of their Classic Album Series. The Sydney-based collective takes a seminal record and plays it in full, and this time the focus is Springsteen's 1984 album. They'll run through Born In The USA from start to finish, and they're adding a few B-sides from that era and a handful of other Springsteen classics to round it out.

Founder Michael Carpenter fronts the show with a five-piece ensemble, and it's not just about the music. Throughout the performance, he weaves in stories and insights about how the album came together and the cultural impact it had, so you get a bit of the history alongside the songs. The whole thing is presented by Flamingos Live.
