Free outdoor watercolor painting session in downtown Nashville's Church Street Park with all supplies provided; no registration required.
Watercolor Wednesdays are back at Church Street Park on Wednesday, October 21, for another outdoor painting session in downtown Nashville. It's a free hour of watercoloring in the park, and you don't need to bring a thing—all the supplies are provided on-site, so you can just show up and start painting.
Church Street Park is often called the area's "urban oasis," and that's exactly how these sessions are pitched: a mid-week break in the middle of the downtown bustle. The sessions run for about an hour and are framed as a lunch-hour activity, which makes them easy to fit in around a workday. There's no registration required, but places are limited to 15 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you're set on going, it's best to get there a little early.
The program is run by the Nashville Downtown Partnership in collaboration with Metro Parks Nashville and powered by Amazon. Because it's an outdoor event, it only goes ahead weather permitting, so keep an eye on the forecast before you head downtown.
